NPC.LIFE is a tiny village that keeps living in your browser — you create one NPC and look out for them. NPC.LIFE is operated by Garima Bansal.
The game
NPC.LIFE is provided free of charge, as-is, for you to enjoy. We do our best to keep it available and working, but we don't promise uninterrupted access, and the game may change, add, or remove features over time as it grows.
Your data
There's no account and no sign-up. Your NPC, your village, and your progress are stored only in your own browser and never sent to us — see Privacy for the full detail, including the one thing we do measure (anonymous visit analytics).
Treats
Treats are not purchasable yet — see Treats for what's planned. When treats launch, each one is a one-time digital gift (about $1 USD, or the local-currency equivalent shown at checkout) delivered instantly inside the game — never a subscription, never a recurring charge, never required to play. Payment is processed by a third-party payment provider acting as merchant of record; we never see or store your card details. Our Refund Policy covers what to do if a purchase goes wrong.
Acceptable use
NPC.LIFE is a single-player game — there's no chat, no messaging, and no way for your text to reach another player, so there isn't much to misuse here. Please don't try to disrupt the game for other players (for example, by attacking the site itself) or use it for anything unlawful.
All ages
NPC.LIFE is family-friendly, suitable for all ages — no violence, no explicit content, no chat with strangers.
No warranty
The game is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. We're not liable for losses arising from your use of the game, to the fullest extent the law allows.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the game changes — for example, when treats actually launch. Continuing to use NPC.LIFE after an update means you accept the current version. Meaningful changes will be reflected here with a plain description, not buried in legal language.
